About
My work sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, AI automation, and modern data platform design. I’m not just building pipelines — I’m building systems that think, adapt, validate, and guide decision‑makers with clarity.
Over the last decade, I’ve transformed legacy architectures into intelligent platforms powered by Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Spark, AWS, and increasingly, agentic AI. My focus is simple: use automation and intelligence to eliminate repetitive engineering work, reduce operational friction, and unlock analytics that feel alive.
Today, I’m researching modern agentic AI systems and how they reshape industries like insurance, fintech, manufacturing, and enterprise operations. My goal is to build AI‑driven engineering frameworks that scale across organizations and redefine how data teams work.
Career Journey
My career has been defined by one theme: taking complex, outdated systems and turning them into intelligent, automated platforms. I’ve built tools that compare databases across entire enterprises, AI‑powered dashboards that explain insights instead of merely displaying them, and ingestion frameworks that eliminate manual engineering overhead.
Experian Services — Team Lead
At Experian, modernization wasn’t optional — it was urgent. I rebuilt legacy DataStage pipelines into AWS Glue, designed Snowflake ingestion frameworks, and introduced AI‑assisted SQL validation and documentation. One of my most impactful contributions was a database comparison engine that analyzed schema differences, lineage gaps, and data quality issues between legacy systems and Snowflake. It became a core migration accelerator used across teams.
Germania Insurance — BI Lead / Data Engineer
At Germania, I built analytics systems that didn’t just report numbers — they told stories. I integrated AI into dashboards to generate automated commentary, detect anomalies, and highlight business risks. I also designed Spark + dbt ingestion pipelines and Snowflake models that powered underwriting, claims, and actuarial analytics with unprecedented clarity.
Earlier Roles
My earlier work across ThermoFisher, GM, Deloitte, and Accenture gave me the architectural foundation I still rely on: dimensional modeling, warehouse design, BI modernization, and large‑scale system migrations. These experiences shaped my engineering philosophy — build systems that last, scale, and evolve.
Engineering Philosophy
I believe great data systems are quiet. They don’t draw attention to themselves. They run predictably, scale gracefully, and make life easier for the people who depend on them. My job is to build those systems — the ones that disappear into the background because they simply work.
I also believe AI belongs inside engineering, not outside it. Not as a replacement for human judgment, but as a tool that amplifies it. AI can validate pipelines, generate documentation, detect anomalies, and accelerate development — but only when guided by engineers who understand the craft.
At the end of the day, I’m not trying to build the flashiest systems. I’m trying to build the ones that last.
